The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the first Veterans in the Workforce of 2017.

This quarterly event series will equip HR professionals and hiring managers representing employers in southeastern Wisconsin with the information they need to recruit and retain veteran employees. Veterans in the Workforce will be held on March 23 from 11:30am-1pm at the Radisson Hotel Milwaukee West (2303 North Mayfair Road Milwaukee, WI 53226). This event will focus on veteran recruitment techniques, and provide our audience with direction as to how they can identify and hire veteran talent in Wisconsin.

Our guest presenter is Dan Buttery, President & Owner of HVT Marketing. Dan recently served as the Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs in Madison, WI. In addition, attendees will connect with more than a dozen public and private sector organizations who provide career preparation and job training services to veterans. Organizations participating in our Workforce Resource Fair include:

* Dryhootch
* VetWorks, Inc.
