Monroe County Sheriff Scott Perkins reports the Monroe County 911 Communications Center received a 911 call at approximately 2:38 P.M. of a two vehicle crash with injuries.

The crash occurred on State Highway 33, near the intersection of Oklahoma Avenue in Jefferson Township. Nicholas J. Dibbert (33) of Ontario, was operating a 1999 Ford F-150 Westbound on State Highway 33. Dibbert’s vehicle went onto the north shoulder, where he over corrected and crossed the centerline striking a 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by Erna M. Pasch (55) of Kendall who was Eastbound on State Highway 33. Also in Pasch’s vehicle was her 3 year old grandson. Both vehicles came to rest and a passerby stopped to check on the occupants of both vehicles. Pasch and her grandson were transported to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse with non-life threatening injuries by Tri-State Ambulance Service. Dibbert declined any medical attention. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office at the scene was the Monroe County 911 Communications Center, Tri-State Ambulance Service, Cashton First Responders, and Cashton Fire Department.
