On Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th, the Sparta American Legion will hold its annual Chicken Q Fundraiser starting at 11 a.m.
The event is open to the public and will be held at the Sparta American Legion hall located at 1116 Angelo Road (Hwy 21). Chicken Q meals include a half-chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, and roll for only $9 per plate. All proceeds raised will support our Legion youth programs such as scholarships, Badger Boys/Girls State Camp, and other programs promoted by the Sparta Legion.
The American Legion is open to the public daily at 11am. Stop in to purchase your tickets for this event. Bring the whole family for dinner and help support a great cause!
The Legion will also offer money raffles for a limited time. Raffle tickets are available for 3 for $5. First prize will win $200, second prize nets $100, and participants placing third through six places will receive $50 each. The drawing will be at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day. Tickets are available at the Legion hall.
