The Jackson County Forestry and Parks Department says trails are in good shape, even after the recent storms.

The trail from City Point to Pray has some wet areas but overall that is in good condition. The closure that previously was between Waterbury road and Crawford Hills will re-open Friday. Also, the re-route in place near Hatfield has since been opened. The Oak Ridge trail down to Millston will remain closed, but it’s hoped will open early next week. Getting to Millston via the Bell Mound Trail is still possible, but the Wildcat Loop remains closed. As always ride with caution and use good judgment. Several areas have standing water and mud holes.
