For the second time in three days, a truck driver has been attacked and robbed at an interstate rest area.
Pleasant Prairie police were called to the tourist information center on Interstate 94 Thursday morning shortly before 6:00 a-m. A 39-year-old trucker needed hospital treatment for a head injury. He wasn't able to give much information due to the injury, but his wallet had been stolen. Surveillance video has given investigators a "person of interest" in the case. Monday, two men had robbed a truck driver from Pennsylvania at a rest stop on I-41 near Lomira. He had to be hospitalized. The names of the two victims weren't released.
