Two Teens Arrested for Theft in Black River Falls

Two Black River Falls teenagers have been taken into custody after they were caught during a robbery in progress.

The incident happened on Tuesday on Van Buren St in Black River Falls. The complainant woke up to several individuals inside the building at 1374 Van Buren St. When the suspects were confronted, took off running. Officers then located a 16-year-old near the scene of the crime, and was taken into custody. The following day, at 17-year-old was brought into custody as well in relation to the burglary.

The Black River Falls Police Department believes that two adults also have a connection to the crimes, and are still looking for those adults. The two teenagers have been charged with burglary, theft, criminal trespassing, and disorderly conduct.

The case remains under investigation by the Black River Falls Police Department.
