Property damage is the only report in a single vehicle crash with a guard rail on Saturday in Monroe County.
Monroe County Sheriff Deputies report that early Saturday morning they responded to a call of a single vehicle crash with a guard rail on St Hwy 33 near Optic Road in the Town of Sheldon. 19-year-old Thomas Peterson of Ontario was driving his truck and told officers that he had fallen asleep and hit the guard rail. He was not injured in the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, and the crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
