Two Vehicle Crash in Monroe County, One Driver Arrested for OWI

Two people are injured after a two vehicle car crash in Monroe County last night.

Officials with the Monroe County Sheriff's Deparment are reporting that a truck driver by 32-year-old Andrew Sanmann of Sparta was driving Westbound on Highway 16 and crossed the center line hitting another vehicle head on driven by 25-year-old Brock Brabham of Tomah. Sanmann fled the scene on foot after the crash, but was later caught and arrested for an OWI and other charges. Brabham was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Sparta for his injuries, and Brabham was transported by police after his arrest. The crash is still under investigation.
