The Tomah Chamber and Visitors Center will be hosting a new event in downtown Tomah: Music on Milwaukee Street.

On August 11th, East Milwaukee Street will be closed to traffic for this street fest style event. Adults 21 years of age and over are invited to attend. Tickets are $10.00 in advance or $15.00 at the gate and can be purchased at tomahwisconsin.com.

Chamber President/CEO Tina Thompson stated that “we are working to highlight downtown Tomah and put more feet on the street. We have a beautiful downtown and want to encourage the public to spend more time in it. We are hoping that by investing in more events, the community and visitors will support our efforts and begin spending more and more time considering Tomah as a choice destination.”

Live music will start at 3:30 featuring Duncan Peterson, Greg Hall and the Wrecking Ball and The Tim Sigler Band (also known as The Mud Dogs Band). People are encouraged to bring their own chairs and sunscreen. Gates will open at 2:30. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
