Wisconsin Tribe Reaches Settlement With Attorney General's Office

A tribe in northern Wisconsin says it has settled its legal dispute with the state over its plans to process hemp.

State Attorney General Brad Schimel had objected, originally, leading the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin to file a lawsuit.  The agreement lets the tribe oversee hemp production of C-B-D oil from hemp on reservation lands.  The F-D-A just approved a purified form of C-B-D to treat epileptic seizures last month.
