Unlicensed Uber Driver Charged In Friday Fatal Crash

A 16-year-old driver for Uber admits he didn't have a valid license when he caused a fatal accident Friday while trying to outrun police.

Sixteen-year-old Jesus Cardenas-Torres of Milwaukee faces two felony charges in the accident. A passenger, 22-year-old Christina Marlyn Hernandez was killed and two other passengers were injured. He had been ticketed in January for operating after his license had been suspended. Torres is charged with knowing operating a motor vehicle without a valid license causing death and causing great bodily harm.
