Wisconsin Supreme Court Upholds Murder Conviction In Cold Case

The Wisconsin Supreme Court agrees with a state appeals court and upholds a murder conviction out of Oconto County.

Chad McLean died from four gunshots to his head in 1998. The case had gone cold until Peter Hanson's estranged wife told investigators he was the one who had killed McLean. Attorneys for Hanson argued there were trial errors and his attorney was ineffective. All arguments were rejected by the state's high court and the conviction stands.
