A man operating out of Melrose was arrested on multiple drug charges on Tuesday.
Authorities arrested 40-year-old Victor Williams who was operating a drug house at W14705 County Rd D in Melrose. Williams was arrested away from the residence, and had fentanyl and cocaine hidden on himself.
A search warrant was executed at the residence in Melrose by both the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, as it was believed that Williams was selling the narcotics in both counties. The warrant turned up 3.6 g of fentanyl, 155 g marijuana, 46 pills, over $4,000 in cash, and a handgun.
Williams was booked into the Jackson County Jail.
