Southwest Wisconsin Man Arrested for Shooting Man in Face With Arrow

A southwest Wisconsin man is in custody for shooting another man in the face with an arrow in Westby.

Police and Vernon County sheriff's deputies responded early Friday to the report of an accidental shooting. Officers say a 56-year-old man had been shot near the nose with a bolt from a hand-held crossbow. He was treated by paramedics for non-life threatening injuries. Ryan Buroker was arrested at the scene. No word on what charges Buroker could be facing.
