The major winter storm has mostly moved out of Wisconsin and to the east, leaving up to two feet of snow in its wake.
Douglas County in the northwestern corner of the state will likely top two feet when the final totals are in. Door County recorded 11 inches in less than 24 hours ending Sunday. The addition of high winds made driving very dangerous Sunday night. Oconto closed several local roads due to high winds and flooding. Leaders in the eastern Wisconsin community asked residents to limit their water use because the local wastewater treatment plant had exceeded its capacity.
