A Prairie du Chien man was supposed to be sentenced Tuesday on his manslaughter conviction, but that has been delayed a week.

Nineteen-year-old Dalton Adam was found guilty in Winneshiek County last month. He had been charged with first-degree murder, but the jury found him guilty on the lesser charge. Adam and Jacob Seelinger were accused of killing 46-year-old David Hansen last year during an attack outside Hanson’s home in Decorah, Iowa. Seelinger has already been sentenced to at least 50 years in prison.
