Authorities say the man convicted of one of Green Bay’s most-brutal murders is expected to be released from prison later this month.

Randolph Whiting was sentenced to life in prison and had been denied parole several times. He and three other people were found guilty of raping, beating and then killing Margaret Anderson in 1983. Mark Lukensmeyer, Mark Hinton and Denice Stumpner were all found guilty of rape, but Whiting was the only one convicted on the murder charge.
