Janesville Police Look At Taking Bar’s Liquor License After Shooting

The co-owner of a Janesville bar says he feels “sucker-punched” after calling police when he heard some shots late last year.

The Janesville Alcohol Licensing and Advisory Committee will discuss the possibility of taking that bar’s liquor license when it meets Friday. Bob Kerman says the bar has been in business at that location for 18 years with no problems. Kerman says the shots came from outside and he has complied with the police investigation. He says about 100 people were attending a private party last November when he heard the shots.
