Wisconsin Governor Approves National Guard Corrective Action Plan

Governor Tony Evers has given his approval to the corrective action plan developed by the Wisconsin National Guard.

The plan is designed to improve the way cases of sexual assault, sexual harassment and retaliation are handled. The former top commander of the Guard, Donald Dunbar, resigned in December after a report from federal investigators found those cases had been mishandled. Brigadier General Laurie Farris of the New Hampshire National Guard is assigned to oversee the development and implementation of the corrective action plan.
