A federal judge has freed the superintendent for the School District of Altoona while he waits for his trial to start.

Thirty-two-year-old Daniel Peggs wasn’t required to post a bond. Peggs was arrested last week and is facing federal charges of child sex trafficking and producing child porn. The Department of Justice says Peggs used a minor to engage in sexual conduct and used his iPhone to produce child porn. U-S Attorney Julie Pfluger is handling the prosecution of the case in Madison Federal Court.
