Man Arrested in Black River Falls for Possession of Meth, Other Charges

A 38-year-old Lake Hallie man was arrested early Monday morning after initialling fleeing a traffic stop in Black River Falls.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office reports that a deputy made a traffic stop around 2:20 AM Monday. The driver, 38-year-old Dennis Decker, fled the scene and crashed his car in a parking lot of a local business.

Decker then fled on foot, and his passengers were treated for injuries.

Decker was found later hiding in the parking lot, and was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of fleeing an officer, possession of methanphetamine, and a probation/parol warrant.
