COVID-19 Case Update for Monroe County 3/25/2020

As of Wednesday, March 25 th at 3:30 p.m., Monroe County has one confirmed case of
COVID-19 total.

The individual reports having had no known exposure via travel or contact with
a confirmed case.
Monroe County Health Department will be posting daily case counts at 3:30 p.m. on our website
https://healthymonroecowi.org/covid-19 and Facebook page.
Due to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) we cannot identify
where individuals who test positive for COVID-19 live. We ask that residents respect the privacy
of individuals who have been tested for or tested positive for COVID-19.
Viruses know no city, town, or county boundaries. That is why we are asking that all county
residents follow the #SaferAtHome order and practice social distancing by staying at home,
limiting their contact with others, and not taking unessential trips. Wash your hands frequently,
cover your cough, and avoid touching your face. If you are experiencing signs and symptoms of
COVID-19, please call your healthcare provider before visiting the clinic.
