Menomonee Falls-based Kohl’s plans to re-open 34 of its stores in Wisconsin today (Friday 11 a-m).
Seven other stores in the state will remain closed until May 26th under local guidelines. Kohl's said in a statement, "in preparation for re-opening, we’ve made significant enhancements to the store environment and staff operations to prioritize the health and safety of Kohl’s customers and associates." The stores will also continue limited-contact drive up service for customers picking up online orders. There will be signs on the floor to encourage six-feet of social distancing, protective barriers at all registers, checkout lane cleaning after each customer, fitting rooms will be closed, and stores will only have one entrance.
