Wisconsin’s record for the number of negative COVID-19 test results lasted just one day.

The state Department of Health Services reports nearly nine-thousand negative test results for Thursday. Five percent – or 472 – came back positive. State officials have an ambitious goal to test thousands of people every day in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic. The previous record was just over six-thousand on Wednesday.
