Officials in Milwaukee are working on new guidelines and safety protocols for local and state child care facilities during the pandemic.

During Thursday’s webinar, the importance of wearing face masks, regular sanitizing and social distancing were stressed. As facilities prepare for their reopening, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families is estimating about 25 percent of all child care programs will remain closed, permanently.
