They just moved in a month ago. Now, some students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are heading back home.
They are getting off-campus before a two-week shift to online classes. Leaders at the university are all but ordering undergraduate students to stay in their dorms or apartments to slow an alarming spike in coronavirus cases. Dane County Executive Joe Parisi is blaming the students, saying the county had a pretty good handle on the virus until they returned. He says U-W students are putting everyone at risk.
