(6/20/14) The head of international education at U-W Stout has died in a traffic crash.

(6/20/14) The Jackson County Trails remain closed. Due to flooding and washouts, the trails will stay closed for the weekend. We are currently working on repairs and hope to open next week.

Also note: Clark County trails are closed south of Hwy 10, the remaining portion of their trails are open.

 (6/19/14) Black River Falls – The Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC) recognized Nicole Schweitzer, rehabilitation services manager for Black River Memorial Hospital (BRMH), as a Rural Health Ambassador. Schweitzer has been with BRMH for 18 years, 14 of which have been in the manager role.
