Ron "Rambo" S. Goldsmith

Ron “Rambo” S. Goldsmith, 54, of Merrillan, WI passed away Friday, June 8th, 2018.

Ron was born in Black River Falls, WI on August 18th 1963, to Gary G. and Judy A. (Jarrett) Goldsmith. He graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1981. He married Stacy L. Quast on July 27, 1991.

Ron worked at Bar-B from the time he was in high school until it was sold in 2001. He then went to work at River States Truck & Trailer in Onalaska, WI as the Warranty Administrator and Assistant Manager of the Body Shop until the time of his death.

He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, and even went to Canada with Mr. Z and shot a moose, which now resides at the Stoney Creek Resort in Osseo, WI. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, Brewers baseball, and the Green Bay Packers, and he also had a veggie garden every year.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Stacy; Mother Judy, Mother-in-law Diane; Brother Rich (Suz); Brother-in-law Mick (Dawn) Quast; Sisters Beth (Rolo) Bue, Barb, and Penny; 11 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews; and his 4-legged dufus Mikki.

He was proceeded in death by his father Gary; Father-in-law Louie; Grandparents Hallie (Verda) Goldsmith, and Robert (Margaret) Jarrett; Uncles Roger, Danny, Ray, Al, and Jack; and his beloved girl Molly.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Miles Hagen American Legion Post 200 in Black River Falls, WI from 1 PM-3 PM.
