Mark Thomas Gawron, age 55 of Black River Falls was called to his heavenly home on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Dove Healthcare in Osseo.
He was born on Sept 3, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Frank and Judy Gawron. He married Jody Kittleson on August 19, 1989 in Manitowoc, WI.
Mark was a forester and worked for the Ho-Chunk Nation. He loved trees, the outdoors, camping, hiking and fishing. Mark sang barbershop with the Pine Tones. He was very active in his church and served as an elder at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Black River Falls.
He is survived by his wife Jody; he was the proud father of his son Evan and his daughter Natalie; his sisters: Mary (Jerry) Pratt of Eagle, WI and Amy (Mark) Youngquist of Sussex, WI; his in-laws Curt (Annette) Kittleson; brothers-in-law Mark (LeeAnn) Kittleson and Jess Kittleson; sister-in-law Kim (Don) Hafeman. Further survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents Frank and Judy Gawron.
Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 351 W. Jefferson St., Black River Falls at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 with Pastors David Shudy and Dr. Rev. Gary Paul officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Black River Falls.
Mark’s faith in God was the guiding force in his life and he shared his faith with many people. He had a strong and abiding love for his family. Mark loved people and he touched many lives with his kind and gentle nature.
