Roselyn Marie Zeller

Roselyn Marie Zeller, age 72 of Black River Falls, died Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse.

She was born in Sparta, the daughter of Alois and Ruth (nee Mitchell) Zeller on December 27, 1946. Roselyn was a lifetime member of Guardian Angels Catholic Parish in Black River Falls. Volunteering many years at the church and Pineview Nursing Home. In 2013 she received the WCHA/WI CAL Shining Star for her many years of volunteering and in 2014 she received the Women in History Award. Roselyn enjoyed her flower, vegetable gardens and baking. She would enter many categories with her flowers and vegetables in the Jackson County Fair and received many blue ribbons. Roselyn was known for her sauerkraut making skills and showed many residents of Pineview how to make it.

Roselyn is survived by brothers: Robert (Jan) Zeller, Francis (Donna) Zeller, Carlton Zeller, Jerome (Deb) Zeller; sister Caroline (Don) Klink; nieces and nephews: Rosemarie, Christopher, Kevin, Renae, Clover, Trevor, Connor, Robbie and Steve; great nieces and nephews: Ariel, Karissa, Trevor, Ari, Konnor and Karsen. She is further survived by many friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, numerous aunts and uncles and a nephew John Newberry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 507 Main St., Black River Falls with Fr. Emmanuel Famiyeh officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Buswell Funeral Home, 106 S. 2nd St., Black River Falls and again 1 hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
