Jeannine Ann Davis

(4/24/12) Jeannine Ann Davis, 66, of Arcadia died on Saturday April 21, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born on July 17, 1945, in Arcadia to Hubert and Mildred (Maliszewski) Jereczek. Jeannine married Robert Davis on her birthday, July 17, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, WI.

Jeannine went to secretarial school in Winona. She worked at the Sunbeam Bakery in Winona, was the Assistant Clerk-Treasurer for the City of Arcadia from 1975 to 1981, where she became the Clerk-Treasurer until 1999. She worked at Pat’s Meat Market, she started her banking career at the Associated Bank in Arcadia, and was a Personal Banker at the Waumandee State Bank. Jeannine was a member of Holy Family Parish, the PCCW, and had served on church council. She was a member of the Arcadia Lioness, served as treasurer, and a member of the Craft Club. Jeannine enjoyed her crafts and spending time with her family.

Jeannine is survived by her husband Bob of Arcadia; two sons, Lee (Erin) Davis of Onalaska, Shawn (Maria) Davis of Holmen; one daughter, Carmen (Tim) Wilson of Osseo; 10 grandchildren, McKenzie, Davis and Ajay Wilson, Emerald and Carter Davis, Harrison, Shawna, Cassidy, Gracy, and Steven Davis; one sister, Charlene Helms of Little Chute, WI; two brothers, Jerome “Jerry” (Ruth) Jereczek of Plymouth, MN, Kenneth (Diane) Jereczek of Pine Creek; sister-in-law, Doris Davis of Blair; and best friend, Terry Klonecki. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Davis and David Helms; and a nephew, Marty Helms.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish with Monsignor Roy Literski officiating. Friends may call at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM where there will be a 7:00 PM prayer service and a 7:30 PM rosary. Friends may also call on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Wozney-Killian Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
