Kathryn Ann Brandt, 73, of Dodge, WI passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Bluffview Memory Care in Holmen, WI.


Kathy was born in Milwaukee on November 29, 1946, to Fredrick and Cecelia (Losinski) Brandt. Kathy started her Art teaching career in West Bend, WI. After teaching, she started working at Kmart in Winona, MN meeting many wonderful lifelong friends and remained there until Kmart closed. Her next adventure was working at Watkins Home in the culinary department. While working she was able to see her father Fred who was living at Watkins at this time. Kathy’s last job was at Benchmark in Winona.
Kathy was an outdoor person. She loved taking walks, hiking, and working in her flowers. She took many vacations, which included traveling the United States from coast to coast. A special vacation was visiting the Vatican in Rome. One of her last trips was taking her father Fred to Nova Scotia.
She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephew. Kathy would spend the day making art projects, Christmas gifts, going on day trips, teaching them about their family history and taking them hiking and skiing.
Kathy is survived by two brothers: Jim (Bonnie) Brandt of Dodge, WI and John (Therese) Brandt of Fountain City, WI; nieces & nephew: Stacy Boberg, Heather Back, Sara Galewski and Nathan Brandt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-brother Robert Schallow.
