(4/25/14) John B. Potts, age 88, of Black River Falls and formerly of Ashland and Madison died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at his home in Black River Falls after an extended illness.
John entered this world in a more peaceful time on September 29, 1925 in LaCrosse, WI to George Branson and Hazel Faye (Showen) Potts.

John married his first love, Betty Dalby, and lost her later, as the result of an automobile accident in 1973. He later married a high school friend, Mary L. Buchanan, who died in 2013.
He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kaylah Sadie Potts, two sisters, Colleen Deters of Viroqua, and Delores Burrows of Madison.
Leaving to witness things that he will not be privy to upon his demise, are his sons, Jeff Potts, Black River Falls, and David (Dorothy) Potts, Alma Center, WI, grandchildren, Rachel, Kimberlee, and Zack, and step-children, George, Peter, and Nancy Roth.
