(Arlington, TX) -- The Wisconsin defense will get a chance to redeem itself this (Monday) afternoon when it plays Western Michigan in the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas.
The Badgers blew a 28-7 lead against Penn State in the Big Ten title game last month, when the Nittany Lions scored 31 points on five straight possessions. All came on scoring drives from 58 to 90 yards against a Wisconsin defense which entered that game giving up almost 14 points per contest. On offense, the Badgers will look to keep running the ball, as they've rushed for 200 or more in all but two of their last eight games. U-W senior Corey Clement has run for at least 100 yards in each of his last five outings, as the Badgers have a 10-3 mark against Western Michigan's 13-0 record -- and the kickoff is at noon from A-T-and-T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
