N-F-L Network says Green Bay Packers' receiver Jordy Nelson has "at least two fractured ribs," and it would take an "incredible effort" for him to play on Sunday at Dallas.
Coach Mike McCarthy confirms that Nelson spent Sunday night at a hospital and was back at Lambeau Field Monday -- but the coach would not say whether there were internal injuries. McCarthy says Nelson would not practice until at least Friday, and if he cannot work out Saturday he will not play in Sunday's N-F-C Divisional round game against the Cowboys. Nelson took a hard hit from New York Giants' corner Leon Hall in the second quarter of Sunday's 38-13 Packers' Wild Card rout. Randall Cobb and Davante Adams went on to catch a combined 13 passes for 241 yards and four touchdowns in Nelson's absence.
