Can Remain Strong Without Nelson(Green Bay, WI) -- Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers says it would be a "huge loss" if receiver Jordy Nelson could not be in Sunday's N-F-C divisional playoff contest at Dallas.
But Davante Adams would still be a top tier wideout after his performance against the Giants last Sunday, in which he caught a team leading eight passes for 125 yards and one touchdown. Rodgers pointed to Randall Cobb, who lines up at different spots and had five catches for 116 yards and three scores against New York -- and rookie Geronimo Allison, whom Rodgers says is playing "effectively." And tight end Jared Cook missed the Packers' regular season loss to Dallas with a high ankle sprain, but he's healthy now and is coming off a five catch, 48 yard showing against the Giants. Coach Mike McCarthy says Nelson will not practice until Friday at the earliest, as he seeks to recover from a reported two broken ribs last Sunday.
