Florida Atlantic Visits Camp Randall Trying To Find Answers On Defense

Based on a season-opening loss to Navy, Florida Atlantic appears to be dealing with the same problems on defense the Owls had last year.

F-A-U needs to figure out how to stop the run, and that won't be an easy job against the Wisconsin Badgers. Coach Paul Chryst's unbeaten, top-10-ranked team is no longer a run-dominant offense. Left-handed quarterback Alex Hornibrook is coming off his best passing game of his career. It doesn't get any better for new coach Lane Kiffin when Florida Atlantic has the ball. The Owls only managed 40 yards rushing against Navy in the opener. The visiting players will also take the field with thoughts about what Hurricane Irma may be doing to friends and loved ones back home.
