Badgers Try To Maintain Dominance Over Improving Purdue

You could call it a simple task for the Purdue Boilermakers: to win, stop the Wisconsin running attack.

It's not that simple. The Badgers try to beat their Big Ten opponent for a 12th straight time when the two teams meet at Camp Randall Stadium this afternoon at 2:30. Wisconsin is a 17-point favorite. For U-W, freshman tailback Jonathan Taylor is looking a lot like Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne from a few years back. Stopping him will be a big job for Purdue, although the Boilermakers are obviously a much-improved team. Purdue will try to score using a lot of motion and trick plays against another solid Badger defense. Steady rain and the possibility of some strong storms could affect this one.
