The Wisconsin women's hockey team had to battle from behind on the road to beat Minnesota-Mankato Friday 3-2.

Junior forward Sophia Shaver scored the game-winning goal in the third period to keep the Badgers undefeated. The scoring started early, when Abby Roque took a pass from Presley Norby and found the range less than a minute after the puck had dropped. Minnesota State scored twice in the second period to take a 2-1 lead, but Norby scored to tie, then Shaver put Wisconsin ahead. Kristen Campbell made 18 saves and she now leads the N-C-A-A with seven wins.
