Trent Frederic put his Badgers team on the scoreboard first, but Michigan prevailed on its home ice Friday 5-3.

The Wolverines scored three times in the period and dominated the action most of the night, out-shooting Wisconsin 40-24.  The Badgers failed to kill two penalties as the home team took the lead.  Ryan Wagner did score twice in the third period.  Michigan's final goal came in the empty net while Jack Berry was pulled for an additional attacker.  Wisconsin and Michigan wrap up the weekend series tonight at 6:30 p-m.
