(Phoenix, AZ) -- The Milwaukee Brewers wasted a seven-inning, two-hit performance by starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin in a 2-1 loss at Arizona Tuesday night.

The Diamondbacks ended a six-game losing streak with the victory when Daniel Descalso singled in a run in the bottom of the eighth. Travis Shaw knocked in Milwaukee's only run with a double in the fourth and the two teams had remained tied until Descalso's run-scoring grounder. Trevor Williams took the loss, although it was Boone Logan who gave up the game-winning hit. Right-hander Brandon Woodruff starts today's (Wednesday's) series finale at 2:40 P-M.
