Brewers Shut Out Cubs at Wrigley for 7th Straight Win

The Milwaukee Brewers moved into a first-place tie with the Cubs in National League Central following a 7-0 shutout of Chicago Friday at Wrigley Field.

Gio Gonzalez pitched five-and-two-thirds scoreless innings in Milwaukee's seventh straight victory. Cubs starter Jose Quintana gave up three runs over six-and-two-thirds to take the loss. Ryan Braun hit a solo homer while Orlando Arcia and Jesus Aguilar each drove in two runs for the Crew. Zach Davies gets the start for the Brewers today in Chicago against Cubs left-hander Cole Hamels (Saturday 1:20 P-M).
