Moustakas Homer In 14th Inning Spells Victory For Brewers 6-3

Second baseman Mike Moustakas hit a two-run homer in the 14th inning to lead the Brewers to a 6-3 victory in Houston.

Milwaukee starter Brandon Woodruff matched the Astros' Justin Verlander for seven innings. The Brewers won for the fifth time in six games despite striking out 24 times -- 15 of them against Verlander. Moustakas, Ryan Braun, Eric Thames and Yasmani Grandal had home runs. Adrian Houser picked up the win as six Milwaukee pitchers held Houston -- one of baseball's strongest lineups -- to five hits in 14 innings. The Brewers are off today (Thursday), then send undefeated Zach Davies against the Giants in San Francisco Friday.
