Lorenzo Cain hit the go-ahead R-B-I single in the tenth inning to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 7-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Friday night at P-N-C Park.
The Pirates scored five runs in the ninth to force extra innings. Junior Guerra blew the save by allowing the game-tying home run to Jung Ho Kang, but came back to pitch the tenth for the win. The Brewers plated four runs in the eighth inning on a pair of two-run homers from Jesus Aguilar and Manny Pina before the Bucs rallied to tie it. Orlando Arcia hit a solo shot in the seventh. Milwaukee starter Zach Davies threw five scoreless innings for a no-decision. Adrian Houser gets the start for the Crew this afternoon against Pirates right-hander Dario Agrazal (Saturday 3 P-M). First-place Milwaukee is half-game ahead of the Chicago Cubs in the National League Central.
