All-Star closer Josh Hader surrendered a home run for the fourth time in his last six appearances, costing Milwaukee a 7-5 loss Tuesday.

The Brewers missed a chance to gain a game on the Cubs. Outfielder Christian Yelich returned to the lineup for the first time in five games, driving in a run in the seventh and Yasmani Grandal had a three-run homer. The Brewers haven't confirmed that lefty Gio Gonzalez will start this (Wednesday) afternoon's game, but it is his turn. Milwaukee remains two-and-a-half games behind Chicago in the National League Central Division standings.
