Season Ticket Sales Off By 2%, Badger Football Crowds Still Shrinking

It used to be an unusual sight -- empty seats at Camp Randall Stadium.

When the Wisconsin Badgers played Central Michigan Saturday the crowd totaled 74-thousand, 437, the second-smallest home opener attendance in the last 22 years. School officials report season ticket sales are off by two percent this fall, or, almost 14-hundred tickets less than last year and last year's average attendance for Badger football games was the lowest in 25 years. That matches a trend for college football nationwide.
