Wisconsin Badgers at Minnesota Gophers for Big Ten West Title

The 9-and-2 Wisconsin Badgers and 10-and-1 Minnesota Gophers play perhaps the biggest border battle ever today at T-C-F Bank Stadium (Saturday 2:30 p-m). The winner clinches the Big Ten West title, Paul Bunyan's axe and a berth in the Big Ten Championship against top-ranked Ohio State. The Golden Gophers won the axe last season for the first time in 14 years at Camp Randall Stadium and the Badgers want it back. Minnesota is undefeated at home but U-W is a two-and-a-half point favorite. The Gopher defense will have its hands full trying to stop All American running back Jonathan Taylor. The Badgers face a Minnesota offense that features one-thousand yard receivers Rashod Bateman and Tyler Johnson and one-thousand-yard rusher Rodney Smith. E-S-P-N GameDay is broadcasting live this morning from the U of M campus prior to the big game.
