The 2-and-0 Wisconsin Badgers clearly need to win the rest of their games to earn a berth in this season’s Big Ten Championship game.
They’ve outscored their first two opponents 94-to-18, but undefeated Northwestern is next. The Wildcats offense was near the bottom last season, but quarterback Peyton Ramsey and offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian have seemingly fixed things. That and the fact that Northwestern has been tough on the Badgers when the game is played in Evanston make for some worries about Saturday’s showdown. Wisconsin was missing 10 players on its sidelines in Michigan. Barring any new positive COVID-19 testing results, they should get most or all of those players back for the Wildcats.
