A decision by the player to enter restricted free agency appears to mean one of the two blockbuster trades by the Milwaukee Bucks announced this week has fallen apart.
The Bucks and Sacramento Kings had planned to bring the framework of the deal to Bogdanovic as free agency got underway so he and general manager Jon Horst could work out an agreement. The deal as it was announced early Tuesday morning had appeared to violate the N-B-A's tampering rules. Players and teams can’t officially talk deals until 5:00 p-m Friday. This slows the Bucks’ work to get Giannis Antetokounmpo signed up on a super-max deal. Sunday is the first day he could sign it while the team scrambles to come up with at least one more solid starter.
