Here are the stories:

The Wisconsin Badgers got back on the
winning track in a 72-58 win over Purdue yesterday. All five starters scored in
double figures, including Frank Kaminsky scoring 16 points, and Sam Dekker and
Traevon Jackson adding 15 points each. The win snapped a three-game losing skid
for the ninth-ranked Badgers.

-----

The Todd Mayo show in the fourth quarter was
not enough to pull the upset win in overtime last night. Marquette, wearing
their pink uniforms, fell to fourth-ranked Villanova in a 94-85 loss at the
Bradley Center. Mayo scored the last ten of his 18 points in regulation for the
Golden Eagles, tying the game at 77 all and sending it to overtime. Wildcats
proved to be too much for Marquette in the end. Davante Gardner led all
Marquette players with 29 points, 13 rebounds and two assists.

-----

Wisconsin Badgers running back James White
was impressive at yesterday's Senor Bowl, rushing for 62 yards in 11 carries.
The North squad ended up falling to the South by a final of 20-10. White
definitely got the attention of N-F-L scouts on his lone one-yard touchdown run
in the fourth quarter, thanks to a textbook stiff arm on a South defender. The
run also earned White a trend on Twitter. Before the Senior Bowl, several
outlets projected the running back as a possible second to third-round pick in
the upcoming N-F-L draft.
